When you are trying to lock down the printer and you receive a code 21 error

Knowledge Base Solution Procedure (Print Director "Code 21" Embedded error)

1)    What’s the issue?

When installing the embedded software on a Konica Minolta device from the Resource Manager you will get a “Code 21” error message.

2)    Why did this happen?

The ‘Marketing Area’ has not been set to “EU” in the MFP’s service mode.

3)    How to fix it?

Set the printer’s ‘Marketing Area’ to “EU” in service mode.

3.1) Enter service mode. Please refer to the MFP’s Service manual for the steps.

4)    Who’s behaving badly? 

Konica Minolta MFP’s.

5)    What’s the version?

All Konica Minolta MFP’s that can be embedded except Pro machines and all Print Director versions.
