Adding Dispatcher Paragon Cloud Printer (EU1) – Konica Minolta Universal Print Driver Type V4

Print Driver Download

• Download copy of the Konica Minolta Type V4 Universal Print Driver from Konica Minolta download site (https://www.konicaminolta.eu/eu-en/support/download-centre)
• Input Printer model into search product box example: C450i > Go

• Drivers > Check correct Operating System selected > Universal Printer Driver V4 > PCL6 > Download

• After download, unzip download folder to some location on PC for later use, example: Downloads folder

Obtain IPP URI for Dispatcher Paragon Cloud printing

• Go to https://ipp-gateway.eu1.dipa.cloud/
• Login with your Microsoft account > after successful authentication you will see your unique IPP URI, click the clipboard icon to copy the link to your clipboard. (You will need this later)

Adding Printer

• Next go to Printers & scanners on your PC (Start > Search for Printers & Scanners)
• Add device

• After search finishes choose option > Add manually

• Choose option, “Select a shared printer by name” and paste IPP URI from earlier step (Obtain IPP URI for Dispatcher Paragon Cloud printing) > Next

• On section for selecting print driver choose Have Disk > browse to location of the unzipped folder of print driver downloaded in earlier step (Print driver download) > driver > x64 > PCL6 >*.inf > OK > Choose KONCA MINOLTA Universal V4 PCL > OK

• Next… > Optional: Set as the default printer > Finish

This should create a new printer on your PC workstation called “Cloud Printer”

After printer install there is just some final setup settings within the print driver to finish setup

Setting Printer Defaults and Printer Model (Black & White Print, Duplex etc.)

• Go to Printers & Scanners on PC through settings (Start > Search for Printers & Scanners)
• Click on newly created printer “Cloud Printer” > Printer preferences (Windows 11) or Select Mange on newly created printer “Cloud Printer” > Printer Properties (Windows 10)

• Go to “Please select model in [Device Settings] option

• Select required printer model, example: C450i > OK

• Obtain Settings > Turn Off Automatic Retrieval Settings

• Set any Device Option example: Finisher, extra Paper Source etc. > OK

• Go back into Preferences to set printing defaults like Black & White output, 1-Sided print etc. > Apply

Releasing Print Job/s at Printer

• Login to Dispatcher Paragon on Printer either with Card or PIN method

Print all – Releases all pending print jobs

My print jobs – Tapping My print jobs opens your print list and allows user to manually select print job/s for print or re-print a job

Logging out of printer

• Tap the log out icon on the home screen (top right)
