To uninstall the YSoft SafeQ application and print driver by running the below commands:
cd /Library/Application\ Support/Ysoft.Spooler/
sudo ruby uninstall.rb --force
sudo rm "/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/KONICAMINOLTAC750I.GZ"
Steps to run commands:
sudo ruby uninstall.rb --force
sudo rm "/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/KONICAMINOLTAC750I.GZ"
Steps to run commands:
1. Open Terminal
Press ⌘ + Space, type Terminal, and hit Return
2. Go to the YSoft Spooler folder
cd /Library/Application\ Support/Ysoft.Spooler/
3. Check that the uninstall script exists (Check uninstall.rb listed)
ls
ls
4. Run the uninstall script with admin privileges (uninstall YSoft SafeQ App)
sudo ruby uninstall.rb --force
sudo ruby uninstall.rb --force
5. Wait for task to finish
6. Check if Konica Minolta PPD driver exists
ls /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/ | grep -i KONICAMINOLTAC750I.GZ
7. Remove the specific Konica Minolta driver
sudo rm "/Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources/KONICAMINOLTAC750I.GZ"
8. Wait for task to finish
9. Remove SafeQ TU Dublin print queue
System Settings → Printers & Scanners
Select SafeQ TU Dublin → click “–” to remove
10. Reboot Mac
Notes:
If you see an error like ruby: command not found, you might need to install Ruby first — but macOS usually includes it.
If it says “permission denied” even with sudo, you might not have admin rights
